My Photoshop Brushes

Posted by sincronikon - August 19th, 2022

'Ayo, here's a ZIP file containing my brushes for Photoshop in ABR format.

I'm married to the square smudge; "Diamond cutter"; "Gradient FTW"; "supascatta"; and Ultrasoft. Maybe I shouldn't be ;). Regardless, here you go.

To use these in Photoshop:

  1. View [menu] -> Brushes
  2. Click the hamburger icon (top right, three lines) in the Brushes tab
  3. Select "Import Brushes"
  4. Select my ABR file.

To use these effectively, you'll need to play with some settings, such as angle randomization and smudge strength.

No idea if these port to other art packages. Free use. Go ahead and convert whatever you want if Krita / etc are your thang ;). Just ping me if these help. Enjoy!

May be handy to have, thank you! Though I haven't used PS in a long time now, I wonder if they'll work with Fireworks also...

ABR's a super-simple format, so it might work! A quick Google suggests its possible. I don't mind exporting the shapes as PNG if it doesn't work for you, let me know!

Hmmm well unfortunately https://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/03e5de635f219cdb34a8448d147a11b8

Might be that I have a too old version of the program though, couldn't find a way to add additional brushes at all - no need for PNGs. Saved for future use!
