Two bits for the zero folks who care ;).

#1 -- A FREEWARE game I programmed for Tribes. Deets:

Tribes RPG: World Ender

This freeware game relies on freely contributed art developed by the community. Otherwise, I solo-developed this ancient 90's mod to be feature-complete. It now sports a full story to fill in the gaps from the original TribesRPG (original links lost to archives). However, World Ender is fully configurable, OSS, and free -- and will also crash like mad due to the Tribes engine being too old to support the sheer size of the world I invented, hah! It's great fun, if you are dedicated enough to set up a private server! Everything is enhanced -- AI, sounds, world building, PvP, quests... etc... and the entire concept is free-use! But please, ping me if you free-use it ;).

#2 - A FREE-USE alien font.

Apparently, some people like this

NOTE: Tribes was made FREE after the software corp. Dynamics dissolved. With extreme embarrassment, I failed to spearhead a project to re-create TribesRPG in Torque. I hope a developer suffering less physical pain than I is able to port the original game and carry the TribesRPG legacy! This mod began its life as a generic EverQuest clone, but captured many hearts. I'd like nothing more than to learn that TribesRPG grew into something great!

'Ayo & have a good one.

'Ayo, here's a ZIP file containing my brushes for Photoshop in ABR format.

I'm married to the square smudge; "Diamond cutter"; "Gradient FTW"; "supascatta"; and Ultrasoft. Maybe I shouldn't be ;). Regardless, here you go.

To use these in Photoshop:

  1. View [menu] -> Brushes
  2. Click the hamburger icon (top right, three lines) in the Brushes tab
  3. Select "Import Brushes"
  4. Select my ABR file.

To use these effectively, you'll need to play with some settings, such as angle randomization and smudge strength.

No idea if these port to other art packages. Free use. Go ahead and convert whatever you want if Krita / etc are your thang ;). Just ping me if these help. Enjoy!
